OTHER INVASIVE NON-NATIVE SPECIES
Invasive non-native species (INNS) pose significant environmental and economic risks to Wales; on land, water courses and at sea. The GB non-native species secretariat estimates that they cost the UK approximately £1.7 billion every year.

INNS are a problem in so many walks of life here in Wales; they can cause environmental problems such as flooding and are one of the biggest threats to native plants and animals, they increasing cause issues for food and forestry industries and have negative effects on our health and recreation.
